How have artists and scientists explored visual perception? Why would modern artists want to challenge our understanding of how we see, perceive and sense the world? And what new insights in recent years have changed our understanding of human and non-human perception?

Join Convener Professor Mark Ledbury as he brings together artists and scientists to explore these questions.

Art historian Mark Ledbury is Power Professor of Art History and Visual Culture at the University of Sydney and the Director of the Power Institute.

The Speakers

Rebecca Beardmore, Artist, Sydney College of the Arts

Nicholas Croggon, Art historian, Programmes Coordinator, Power Institute
